December 21, 2007: This journal blew me away from the moment I saw it featured here on the Web site. In person it's even more stunning... from the leather tie to the crisp pages inside. The only thing I don't like about it is that the book inside is not easily replaceable... the makers glued the front and back covers to the leather. Once you fill a book, you have to buy another complete journal, or figure out a way to remove it and replace it with another.

August 29, 2007: Received the Rustico "Writers Log". It's just wonderful. The leather is nice and thick. It's a very sturdy journal built to last. Nice acid-free archival paper. Makes you feel like writing. And of course that great smell of leather. Not a bad price either. Some other journals of this quality are up to twice as much as this one.
