August 22, 2009: We had purchased Puff the Magic Dragon with the CD from a book fair at school and the first time I read it to my daughter, she fell in love with it. She wanted that book read to her every single night and listened to the cd before bed and would have listened two or three times if we had let her. She would bring the book to bed and sleep with it so she could keep Puff close. You can imagine how much wear the book took. It was only a paperback copy after all. I went looking for a Puff for her to snuggle so she could preserve the book and when I found this and found that it was exactly the Puff from her book I had to order it. Shipping only took two days and when she opened the box and saw what it was, she was speechless. Now, instead of the book, she takes Puff to sleep with her. And just like in the story, he has become her lifelong friend.

May 23, 2009: Shopping for my grandson's 6th birthday, the Puff the Magic Dragon doll caught my eye from when his father was a child. It's cleverly designed and appears reasonably well made. I don't know how Cole liked it after his initial fascination, but I thought it was an excellent find.
