November 22, 2009: While highly stimulating to any serious Star Trek fan, it is a little difficult for casual viewers to participate in any serious gameplay. The highly stylistic player pieces and DVD make for an exciting and challenging evening for stalwart participants. I appreciated the visuals and the authentic sounds which really took me back to those bygone years of a highly enjoyable tv and movie experience. It is priced right for what you get. My wife did; however, suggest that it needed different skill levels appropriately named warp 1, 2, 3...et cetera so casual viewers could play and not get lost or bored before bowing out to the more advanced believers. Go ahead and buy it and in the immortal words of Captain Picard, "Boldly go where noone has gone before". nuff said!
