June 14, 2009: I learned how to play chess on this in my 20's by an 8 year old and now I bought it to teach my husband and stepkids. They are picking up the game very easily and I'm happy. It's great for kids 8 and up!

June 13, 2009: Great game because it helps to teach chess in an easy to understand way, but can also be played normally. So it's great for beginners and then when they learn they can just play it as a standard chess game.
