Outstanding cover and light combinationby Bronx731

October 19, 2009: I have been using the Periscope (the original product name) book covers for years and just gave this as a gift. It keeps the books in excellent condition, the cover is very durable and easy to clean and it has the best book light I have ever seen or used. The light is always there since it is part of the cover and it is very bright and covers the whole page. When I travel, I always have it with me. I very often travel alone, and when I go to dinner, I bring my book and people always ask, "where did you get that cover?" It's wonderful on planes (especially when the overhead light is broken). It also has a pocket to keep papers and notes in a pinch. It is always next to my bed at night, so when I was caught in the Northridge Earthquake, it was especially handy since I didn't need to hunt for a flashlight. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!

August 11, 2009: the light works great. I like being able to adjust it up, down left or right. I'm not crazy about the book cover. I think it would work much better on hardbound covers. I usually read paperbacks. Overall, its the best book light I've owned.
