August 20, 2009: This light is okay if you're reading a hardcover book, however it's more difficult to position and maneuvre when trying to read a paperback. The switch to turn it on and off is very difficult and sometimes took two hands - one to get a good grasp on the light so that you had enough leverage and strength with the second hand to push the switch to the on position. The flexible arm is not long enough in my opinion and no matter how many times you get it curved to just the right position, it slowly begins to uncoil back to it's original shape before you adjusted it and then you have to stop reading and start all over again. The light is supper bright if you look directly at it, so be careful. If I still had the receipt I would exchange it for a better one.

August 15, 2009: I bought this for my boyfriend as a gift and he loves it. He had another one before but he said this is better (brighter) and is very happy with it.
