November 11, 2009: I had been searching for a book holder for several years and all I ever found were those heavy black metal stands that didn't fit my needs, and
would be difficult to store as well. Happily, this product is exactly the right stand for viewing any book, single sheet, or diagram/instruction manual for hands-free help. Just as advertised, you adjust for thickness of material, it then swivels if needed, and when finished with your 'read', tucks efficiently into your bookcase.Wish I'd had this great stand while reading "Team of Rivals" last year. October 04, 2009: I've had several cookbook holders over the years, but this one is the best. It's sturdy and compact so it doesn't take up much valuable counterspace. I like the clear front panel because it presses the cookbook open so I can see the whole of both pages, and it keeps liquids from splattering all over my cookbooks. This is a very good value.
