June 08, 2009: I am a disappointed customer, as when I originally placed my order, both desk pieces were indicated as available. I received the first piece in a timely manner and then received notice that the blotter was on back-order. After a long period of time went by, I received notice that the blotter was not available and the order was, therefore, cancelled. I don't want the one piece without the other and would prefer to return it if I cannot have the set for my desk. Somehow, the order process needs improvement.

February 09, 2009: This works just fine for my laptop on my wood desk. It is too small for general office use, but the laptops fits great. It looks good. I bought it because I thought it would be leather (recycled leather?), but in fact it does not have a leather texture at all, it is more like a rubberized material. Hey, did I really think I would get real leather at that price?
