Description

Here's a journal that will stimulate your mind and open new horizons, from the bold declaration on the cover to the environment-friendly method of its manufacture. Within the sturdy and attractive board cover are 150 lined sheets of acid free, chlorine-free paper perfect for holding your daily thoughts and impressions. The strong and attractive wire O-ring binding allows the journal to lie flat and gives it a modern, ready-for-anything look.

When you choose the Rethink Spiral Journal, you can be assured that you are buying a product that has been made without any negative impact on the environment. The cover and pages are 100% post-consumer waste, meaning that no new trees were used in the process. In addition, all the glues and inks used are vegetable based and biodegradable. The inner pages come from a Canadian paper mill that uses alternative power in the form of biogas that is clean and affordable.

May 30, 2009: I love this journal! The wire binding of many journals end up twisting around, making it hard to turn pages etc. Not so with this journal.

I do not buy journals unless they are recycled. I would love to see Barnes and Noble sell even more 100% recycled products.

This product shipped from Canada, which isn't too bad - much better than being shipped from China! The energy used to get here is much less. But aren't there American companies (actually based in the U.S.)that produce 100% recycled journals, cards etc.
