Keep your place with a fine gift of nature. Exquisitely handcrafted in America, this bookmark from Still Life is truly unique. In fact, no two are alike. That’s because each piece is made with a handpicked double Fern leaf which is then carefully preserved in silver in a process that takes seven hours from harvest to completion.

November 03, 2009: a little pricey for a bookmark but it's really very lovely. if the silver leaves "turn yellow" that means the silver has gotten a bit tarnished. use a silver polishing cloth :)

May 17, 2009: I thought this looked amazing when I viewed it on the site, and it did...for a while. After about a week the silver leaves began to change color. They're now yellow and not silver. I'm not sure how this happened especially because they weren't exposed to daylight or much light at all. Just not worth the amount of money. I have bookmarks that I paid $3.00 for and they're years old and in perfect condition. Don't get me wrong the craftsmanship is beautiful but I didn't pay over $20.00 to have the leaves change color within only a week!
